Collin is a senior editor whose work spans comedic commercials, documentaries, and dramatic narrative films. After growing up in Montana, he earned a BFA in film and television from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and shortly thereafter began editing for San Francisco ad agencies Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Pereira & O'Dell. In 2015, he and Josh Murphy founded the production company Liars & Thieves. He has cut commercials for some of the world's biggest brands, including Coca-Cola, Amazon, and Intel, with notable directors such as Robert Stromberg, Theodore Melfi and Benji Weinstein. Films include the award-winning narrative feature JINN (SXSW '18, distributed by MGM/Orion) through which he participated in the IFP Filmmaker Lab, Sundance Music and Sound Design Lab, and received the SFFILM Rainin Grant for post-production. Most recently, he finished the feature documentary ARTIFISHAL (Tribeca '19) which was commissioned by Patagonia.
